A quite traditional style of design for a Hawaiian shirt, though in grey tones to suggest the black & white world of classic film noir. The idea was to make a design that could be seen in a film noir, worn by an actor who would see it in full colour and viewed by an audience in greyscale. I will likely make a version that is shifted more to sepia, perhaps with some film scratches and dust applied overtop.
